Meet Heidi Kasama

Heidi Kasama began her career as a certified public accountant (CPA) and audited major educational and non-profit organizations. In 2001, she became a full-time real estate agent and founded her own brokerage in 2004, which grew to 80 full-time agents.

Kasama has served as President of both the Nevada Realtors and the Las Vegas Realtors. She also serves as the Honorary Consul for Norway for the State of Nevada.

A three-term state legislator, Kasama was elected to the Nevada State Assembly in 2020, and reelected in 2022 and 2024, representing Assembly District 2. Her legislative record includes:

  • Championing "Right-To-Try" legislation to give terminally ill patients access to experimental treatments.

  • Passing laws to address the healthcare worker shortage.

  • Introducing protections to safeguard homeowners from predatory practices.

  • Cutting unnecessary red tape for small businesses.

  • Introducing legislation aimed at enhancing government transparency and accountability.

Heidi lives in Summerlin with her husband, Peter. They have five daughters and multiple grandchildren. On September 2, 2025, she officially announced her candidacy for the Clark County Commission in District F.
