IMPROVING EDUCATION

As a parent, one of my top priorities is making sure my children have access to a quality education. I want them to attend schools that are safe, well-funded, and provide them with the opportunity to succeed. Unfortunately, Nevada's public schools are falling behind. Our student-teacher ratio is among the worst in the country, and overcrowding is making it difficult for our children to get the attention they need from teachers. We need higher standards for our schools, and we need to make sure that money is being spent wisely. I also believe in school choice, and that parents should have the option to send their children to private or charter schools if they feel those schools will better meet their needs. Ultimately, we need to do whatever it takes to make sure our children have access to a quality education.
